I’m fond of the Pink Bourbons in general, and this one lives up to the genre’s reputation for a good balance of fruit and body. I’ve been using a great local roaster for 10 years and tried Red-Headed Stepchild out of curiosity. So far, I’ve been fortunate to go 2-for-2 with my Red-Headed Stepchild bean orders. I had the Guatemala coffee, medium roast. It had Great flavor, no bitterness as I’ve had with some coffees.
I used a French Press, but also used the refillable Kcups in my Keurig coffees maker. That worked fine but I got a more robust flavor with the French press, probably because the water was in contact with the beans for a longer time.

Rich aroma with a balanced flavor. The coffee also had a smooth texture. Very happy with our purchase & highly recommend. We would buy again. Also the owner was professional & knowledgeable.
